Aloha Run FAQs:


YES this is a stroller friendly race. Children under the age of 3 in a stroller do not need to register for the race. However, if you would like the child in a stroller to receive a bib, medal and Aloha hat, please contact info@beyondeventsgo.com for special stroller-registration.

Dogs are allowed in Long Beach, however, they are not allowed in San Diego. Unfortunately, our Mission Bay permit does not allow for dogs. Service dogs excepted.

Nope – The Aloha Run is for all ages!

We love options, so we wanted to give you options too! You can pick up your bib at the bib pick-up the day before the event or on race morning.

YES, all participants will receive a finisher medal at the finish line. Kids in stroller will receive a medal only if they are registered and wearing a bib.

YES, all participants will receive the same Aloha Run finisher medal.

All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE with the following exceptions ONLY:

Active duty military members who are unable to participate because they are unexpectedly deployed may request a refund less a $20 administration fee. Email your request with a copy of orders to info@beyondeventsgo.com no later than September 1,2018.

If you are unable to attend the race, you may transfer your bib to another participant.

YES transfers are allowed for a $10 fee. Please use the link here to transfer your bib.

YES you can switch distance for a $10 fee plus any difference in registration fees. If you are transferring down in distance there is no refund. Please submit all transfer requests please e-mail: info@beyondeventsgo.com.

Yes, you can defer your registration to the following year for a $10 fee. All requests must be received prior to 21 days before the race. Please submit your request to defer please e-mail: info@beyondeventsgo.com.

San Diego – No, parking is free!
Long Beach – Yes, there are a couple parking garages in the area. Pike Parking is 10 min walking from the race start and offers parking validation and Starbucks and other nearby businesses. More info on Pike Parking can be found on the Long Beach page of our website. 

Nope- take your time!

The Aloha Run will take place rain or shine. However, if conditions are determined by city officials to be unsafe, the race will be rescheduled. No refunds will be made.

It will open on September 17th.

If you were unable to attend and would like your medal mailed to you after the event, or if you were unable to stay for your winner award, please send $10 plus your address and requested items. Items will be sent on October 2nd. All items will be donated on October 19th and will no longer be available.
