Aloha Run FAQs:
San Diego- Per our permit, no dogs are allowed.
Long Beach- Yes! Dogs are welcome.
Nope – The Aloha Run is for all ages!
YES, all participants will receive a finisher medal at the finish line. Kids in stroller will receive a medal only if they are registered and wearing a bib.
YES, all participants will receive the same Aloha Run finisher medal.
If you are registered for the San Diego or Long Beach Aloha Run, you can switch to the virtual Aloha Challenge at no cost until August 31. Beginning September 1 there is a $10 fee to transfer to the virtual challenged to have your items mailed to you. Requests to have items mailed to you will be accepted through August 11 for San Dieg and August 25 or Long Beach.
YES you can switch distance! If you are transferring UP in distance you must pay any difference in registration fees. If you are transferring DOWN in distance, there is no refund.

If you registered for the race but cannot attend anymore, you have two options:
- If you purchased event insurance at the time you registered, please contact the insurance company HERE to see if you are eligible for a refund.
- You can transfer your bib to another runner HERE
- Up until August 31 you can transfer to the virtual category at no charge. Beginning September 1 there is a $15 transfer fee. Please email info@gobeyondevents.com for that option. Your shirt and medal mailed to you after the event.
All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE with the following exceptions ONLY:
Active duty military members who are unable to participate because they are unexpectedly deployed may request a refund less a $20 administration fee. Email your request with a copy of orders to info@beyondeventsgo.com no later than 14 days prior to race day.
San Diego – No, parking is free!
Long Beach- Yes, there are a couple parking garages in the area. Pike Parking is 10 min walking from the race start and offers parking validation and Starbucks and other nearby businesses. More info on Pike Parking can be found on the Long Beach page of our website.
Nope- take your time!
The Aloha Run will take place rain or shine. However, if conditions are determined by city officials to be unsafe, the race will be rescheduled. No refunds will be made.
